What information do we hold?
When bookings via the enquiry form on our website, via email or over the phone are made, the personal details we hold for you are, your name, postal address, email address, landline and/or mobile number, number of adults/children in the party/bank details.
We take your personal information, for three purposes. Firstly, to process your enquiry or booking, secondly to provide you with relevant information and thirdly to ask for feedback and to return your Good House Keeping Bond.
This information enables us to respond to your queries and provide excellent customer service with your specific choices made to make your stay with us perfect. This information is not used other than by Holiday Cottages Hebden Bridge to ensure we offer you the best service possible.
Payments to Holiday Cottages Hebden Bridge, are made via BACS transfer or personal cheque. We do not take any card data via our website, over email or phone.
We do ask for you for your bank details at the end of your stay, this enables us to return your Good House Keeping Bond.
If you are a visitor to our website, the cookies on our website automatically retain information about your visit. This is necessary in the legitimate interests of our business to monitor visitors to our website but also necessary in your legitimate interests to help assist you in using our website.
How long we will keep your information
Information you provide us with, will be retained indefinitely for our future reference purposes. However, we will destroy and delete any information relating to any bank details once payment of the Good House Keeping Bond has been processed.
Email addresses are retained indefinitely. However, if you wish us to delete your email address from our systems then we will do so upon request.
Where we hold your information
We will only use the information you have given or that we have taken from you for the purpose it was obtained. Your information is retained electronically on our computer systems and in our computer files as well as in paper files at our premises.
We will not disclose your information to anyone else nor transfer your data outside the European Union unless:-

We have external CCTV, which is used to monitor security at our premises including the gardens, garage and drive where cars park.
It is in our legitimate interest to use CCTV images (no audio) for the security of ourselves, our guests and vehicles parked on our premises. This footage is held only for as long as its purpose requires in accordance with GDPR regulations and all footage is stored securely before being deleted. Data subjects may request access to footage of themselves.
